My mom and I had a wonderful visit to Grass Roots Cafe recently and the food and service were outstanding! We dined on delicious chicken and tuna salad served on mouth-watering homemade croissants and for dessert, we devoured the best cinnamon roll I've ever tasted! I'm already looking forward to my next visit and congratulate you on your dedication to excellence in the quality of your food and service to your customers and community!

We stopped there for a break in our travels and NEVER expected to find a place like this. The food was excellent and the creme brulee' was exceptional. While we were waiting, we enjoyed the company of the staff and checked out the gallery of art and pottery and other "collectibles". I will find a way to get back !

I'm so happy that you are open once again. Grassroots is the perfect place to meet with friends and enjoy a delicious meal. Your desserts are awesome; I can't choose a favorite. Good luck to Judy and her crew. All of us in the area need to treat ourselves and support this gem of a restaurant by enjoying a meal there regularly. See you at Grassroots!

The Corydon P.E.O. recently held their June brunch at Grassroots. It was the perfect setting for our time together. The Belgian waffles and quiche were hits as well as the gracious service. And the impromptu musical entertainment was extra special.

I had another wonderful visit to Humeston this past Friday with my mother and daughter. We stop in for some delicious lunch at Grassroots (the chicken croussaint is my favorite)before heading over to Snyder's for an afternoon of browsing, reminiscing, and enjoyable shopping. I can't wait for the next visit!

My friend, Reva, treated a group of us ladies from Des Moines to lunch at Grassroots. Between the eight of us, we got a chance to try many things including desserts. Everything was excellent and the service was wonderful. Felt like we were at home. I am looking forward to another chance to visit Grassroots!

You were so gracious and kind to us when we had the pleasure of dining in your cafe filled with warmth on Veterans' Day. Many compliments were received on your pies that you so kindly delivered and we served on Saturday evening at the Veterans' dinner in Garden Grove. Thank you for your hospitality.
